Thankful at Christmastide
I am very thankful for my friends, especially during the holidays…. it is not often enough that i talk about my personal friends, my old friends, my well worn, extended, vintage, couldn’t return ‘em or exchange ‘em friends…. the ones that have been there (measured in years or decades) the ones that have let me cry and vent and yell… the ones that tease me away from foolish things and encourage me in weird ways…. the ones that are very excited for the passion of my life but would never let me know it out right…. the few men outside of my family that i exchange gifts with…. no matter how silly or trite… Christmas may be a time of waiting or giving… but it is also a time to be thankful!
